Stories of our Alaskan adventures, dogs, little girls, house building, gardening, tales of whatever Da Baums have killed lately and cooking what we grow and kill!
It has been snowing here for days! Some parts of the island have gotten 30 inches of snow in the last 3 days. Luckily we live in the bananna belt and all the snow flies over us.
We did get enough snow to have some fun though. Luckily for Christmas Hannah got her very own toddler toboggan. She LOVES it!
Here is a video of her in her chariot being pulled by her trusty dog Kenai.
Two weeks ago Hannah & I, along with Marie & her little girl Sierra, went to kids time at our local rec center. Hannah had a BLAST!
Some of the pictures are kind of fuzzy but you can
still see how much fun she is having. Her "dog", every animal is a dog in Hannahland. She really loves riding on the "cars."And playing with balls.. Playing in tubes...Playing with balls in tubes...
Joel Adam Day was born this morning at 3:30a.m. Pictures to come soon! He is a beautiful healthy boy with dimples but he is a chunker! His birth weight was 10lbs 3oz, he doesn't even fit in newborn diapers and barely fits in newborn clothes!
Kristina is doing good. She had a rough go of it but she did amazing. If all goes well they will be home tomorrow afternoon.
Good night! I am exhausted and I didn't even do all the work!
Sunday after church we went out on our annual Christmas tree hunt. This year however, we went minus the shotgun, Jeremy sold his shotgun awhile ago. So this year we had to use an old fashioned saw to kill our tree.
Heading out I think we see one We found one We found another one... Which one?
We ended up taking both of them. One for inside the house and one for by the front door! Yeah!
