Jeremy's River Otter

This is Jeremy with the River Otter he shot. Poor, cute, little otter.

Shylo and Sydney so Lady Like

These are some classy ladies! Sydney is Jenn & David's dog and Shylo's niece. They are great buddies. Shylo is teaching Sydney the ropes.

Kristi with more fish!

Here's a smaller fish I caught!

Dead stuff!

So I said there would be some dead stuff on here. This is me dressed up in my camo with a huge bloody fish I killed. See not just Jeremy gets to kill stuff! We all do!

Kenai the Killer

This is Kenai - our German short-haired pointer. She is a bird brain. She loves to hunt as much, if not more than, her dad. We recently put a bird feeder outside our window in the living room and it has become the official bird TV. It is like ESPN for Kenai dogs, live action all day long.

Kenai is a highly intelligent dog, sometimes too smart for her own good – she recently learned how to open doors. Her sister Shylo has been opening them for her for the past two years but just this week Kenai started doing it for herself. I now have to lock the door when I want to lock them on the porch. Otherwise they just let themselves back in.

Kenai’s other activities include sleeping on the bed, going for long runs and beating up on her sister Shylo. Kenai loves to be the center of attention and just can’t stand it when she isn’t. But she is our princess so she often is at the center!

Shylo

This is Shylo or as we call her Shylo Ann. We tend to use her middle name often because she is always in some sort of pickle. She is always beating herself up. Currently she has a ripped up toe nail and a 1 inch gash in her leg. If it isn't that she is getting into something she shouldn't be or leaving her hair all over the place.

But she is the sweetest dog ever! Next month she is flying up to my parent’s house where she will receive invetro and become a mother for the first time. So Jeremy and I will be proud grandparents! Check out the sperm donor (Striker is his name) at www.janrod.com/striker.htm. These are going to be some water loving, ball chasing, sweet puppies! She will be gone for about 16 weeks and boy will I miss her.

Shylo's favorite activities include bouy fetching, swimming, fetching balls, hiking, fetching sticks, swimming while fetching something and sleeping on the bed.

Da Baums have a Blog!

We now have a blog! We just celebrated 1 year of marriage on April 16th so I decided we should commemorate it by jumping on the blog wagon. Not to sure what we will put up here. Probably pictures of our adventures, dogs and Jeremy's dead stuff! Hope you enjoy it.
