Precious Girl

Here are a couple photos I captured of our precious girl!
Awww...

Look mom, no hands!!

Hungry Hannah

Hannah has started eating solids.

She is going through this major growth spurt. We can't seem to keep her full and she gets VERY upset when she is hungry (I think she gets that from her mom) so we decided to start her on some solids.

I started with rice cereal...

But as you can see she got more on her than in her. She HATES rice cereal. She spits it back out. I have even tried mixing it with banana, peas, carrots but nope. The only way she will kind of eat it is mixed with sweet potatoes - her favorite food (she gets that from her mom too).

Jeremy can't believe his little girl likes sweet potatoes. Dad thinks they are the most disgusting food on the planet. But not little miss. You bring a spoon full of sweet potatoes to her mouth and she is smiling, kicking, waving her arms and going ummmmm - all at the same time.

It is pretty hilarious. I am still trying to get some video of that. It is a little hard to feed a hungry baby and video it at the same time. If I am not shoveling it in fast enough she gets pretty testy.

Hannah the Elephant Tamer & The ExerSaucer

Sorry I have been a little slow uploading movies and photos lately. It seems like we had one sickness on top of the other. It wasn't much fun let me tell you. Especially when both Hannah and I had stomach flu and Jeremy was out of town.

I tell you I have never felt more helpless. But thank the Lord I have good friends. The day I thought I was going to die, my friend Jenn brought me ginger ale, crackers and chicken noodle soup. I tell you she is a gift from God.

So now we are all healthy and active again.

Over the past month Hannah's been working on her Elephant call. She is hoping someday daddy will take her on a safari to Africa. Here is her in all her glory calling the wild elephants.

Hannah is learning how to stand up and about balance. Boy does she love it, especially when she is in ExerSaucer. At first she thought it was cool but wasn't sure how it all worked. But now a month later she has it all figued out. She loves to jump and spin in circles.

Thanks Auntie Helen for this great tool/toy. It keeps Hannah happy and occupied when I need it most. I definitely recommend this as a must have for any mom with a young baby (4 months+)

Enjoy the video of wild Hannah!

Hannah Gets Stomach Flu

Poor little Hannah woke up at 2 a.m. with the dreaded stomach flu. I was hoping she wouldn't get it but when everyone we know has it, we were bound to get it.

She has been such a champ about it though. She didn't even cry. Although she wasn't too happy when I tried to clean her up. She wanted to go back to sleep and gave me the "just leave me alone already mom," face. Poor girl was so tired and didn't like waking up that way.

One time she threw up, then looked at me and smiled as if to say "Woah that was cool, Mom." She is so precious, even when she is sick. Hehe :)

Finally about 2:15 I had her cleaned up and ready to go back to sleep. She had just driffted off when it started again at 2:30, 3:00, 3:30, 5:00, 5:30 then again at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Needless to say we did not get much sleep last night.

Today I spent most of the day doing the laundry we had created during the night. I have never done more laundry in my life! I can't imagine having 4 puking kids!!

I pray tonight will be better and that I don't get sick.
